Preserving a lifetime of belongings within a confined area is no small feat. To optimize these volumes, our concept is to "inhabit" the storage itself. These spaces fulfill their primary function of containment while evolving into areas for play, reading, or rest through the creation of niches and grottos. This approach echoes Louis Kahn’s analysis of British castles, where he illustrates that "served" spaces remain versatile and unencumbered thanks to a rigorous "servant/served" spatial system. By concentrating utility and distribution within the peripheral "servant" zones, the "served" space is liberated from clutter, allowing it to be truly experienced and lived in.
